Role : Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant US Payroll.

Seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant.

Atleast 2 end to end implementation in Oracle Fusion Payroll Module.

Immediate joiners preferred.

We are looking for a Payroll Subject Matter Expert who has in-depth knowledge of Functional Payroll Configuration and Oracle Cloud Business Process Expertise with experience in US Payroll, Union payroll and US taxes.

The resources roles and responsibilities would entail :

- Design, and solve complex payroll requirements, in Payroll Accounting configuration :


1) Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion Payroll.


2) Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion Payroll Cost allocation and Accounting distribution.

3) Payroll Tax Processing Expertise.

4) Experience designing complex Payroll Flows in Oracle Cloud.

- Advising clients on proper usage of Oracle Cloud Payroll.

- Perform Mid-Year Balance Initialization for USA Legislation.

- Perform Payroll Parallel Run Reconciliations.

- Understand Clients requirements & prepare the Function Design Documents for Payroll Interfaces, Reports & Fast Formula.

- Configure Payroll Module using FSM, HDL and other tools.

- Should possess strong knowledge on integration between Cloud Payroll & other HCM Modules.

- Should have worked on 401k, 403b,457b and other USA Retirement Plans.

- Model and test Payroll business processing solutions.

- Design, create, update and execute Payroll flows.

- Payroll Tax Processing including Month, Quarterand Year-End processing.

- Conduct triage sessions with customers to determine root cause, document outstanding issues, and provide solutions and workarounds with respect to Payroll Cloud processing.

- Act as a customer advisor on best practices and application awareness.

- Development of customer-facing Payroll documentation.


- Strong configuration expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll (elements, balances, payroll definitions, RetroPay, proration, garnishments).


- Proficiency in designing and managing Payroll Flows including sequencing, validations, and reconciliation tasks. Handson experience with Payroll Costing & Accounting Distribution, including SLA and GL transfer processes.


- Solid understanding of US Payroll & Taxation (Federal, State, Local taxes, multi-state scenarios, reciprocity rules).


- Experience in Union payroll configuration and processing (fringe benefits, dues, multiemployer contributions).


- Expertise in Year-End, Quarter-End, and Mid-Year Balance Initialization for US legislation. Strong skills in Fast Formula development for Payroll calculations and validations.


- Proficiency in HDL, HSDL, and Spreadsheet Loader for payroll data migration and updates.


- Ability to build HCM Extracts and BI Publisher reports (payslips, registers, reconciliation reports).


- Experience with 401(k), 403(b), 457(b) and other US retirement plan configurations.


- Good understanding of integration dependencies with Absence, Time & Labor, Benefits, and Compensation modules.


- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integrations via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).


- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for payroll errors, retro calculations, and log analysis.


- Experience in Parallel Payroll Run comparison, validation, and cutover readiness.


- Ability to create FDDs, test cases, runbooks, and provide bestpractice guidance to clients.
