Description :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant with deep functional and solution expertise across core financial modules.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end implementation, enhancements, and production support for Oracle Fusion Financials applications while ensuring alignment with business processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Design and Implementation :

- Lead and deliver full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations (minimum three) across modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and SLA.

- Conduct requirements gathering, business process mapping, GAP/FIT analysis, and solution design aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.

- Configure Fusion Financials modules including Chart of Accounts structures, journal setups, accounting rules, tax configurations, and payment processing workflows.

- Implement and optimize E-Business Tax (EBTax) configurations, tax regimes, tax rules, and tax determination logic.

- Support PPM modules for project costing, billing, budgets, project contracts, and financial tracking.

- Collaborate with HCM teams to enable core HR integrations and cross-functional financial processes.

Data Migration and Integrations :

- Manage end-to-end data migration using FBDI, Spreadsheet Loader, and ADFDI templates.

- Validate data models, perform data cleansing, transformation logic, and reconciliation of migrated financial data.

- Build and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Integration Cloud (OIC), and file-based interfaces.

- Work closely with technical teams to design integration mappings, security tokens, and authentication models.

System Enhancements and Support :

- Lead UAT, SIT, regression testing, and production validation for new enhancements and rollouts.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in financial module setups, workflows, approvals, accounting rules, and reporting structures.

- Configure approval workflows using BPM Worklist and support finance teams in streamlining approval hierarchies.

- Provide expert support for month-end/year-end close processes, reconciliations, and subledger accounting.

Reporting and Analytics :

- Develop OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View based reports for financial, compliance, statutory, and operational purposes.

- Analyze and translate business reporting requirements into scalable reporting solutions.

Governance and Compliance :

- Ensure financial processes comply with statutory, taxation, audit, and internal control frameworks.

- Support SOX and audit requirements by documenting process flows, controls, and configuration standards.

- Projects Portfolio Management (PPM)

- HCM functional understanding

- Integration frameworks: REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OIC

- Chart of Accounts (COA) design and configuration

- FBDI (File-Based Data Import)

- Spreadsheet Loader

- ADF Desktop Integrator (ADFDI)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle Cloud Financials Certification

- Experience with AGIS, Receivables Collections, and advanced cash forecasting

- Exposure to global tax configurations and multi-currency setups

- Strong understanding of financial compliance, IFRS/GAAP standards

- Experience working in remote and distributed implementation environments
