Job Description

Key Responsibilities :


- Understand and map business requirements into OTM configurations and customizations.


- Design and develop OTM workflows, agents, and automation scripts.


- Create and maintain technical documentation for OTM implementations.


- Develop and configure master data objects, itineraries, order planning rules, and shipment execution processes.


- Design and implement route optimization logic, network configurations, and appointment scheduling mechanisms.


- Develop technical integration solutions using OTM REST and SOAP APIs for 3rd-party logistics, carriers, and internal systems.


- Configure virtual private domains (VPDs) and user security settings.


- Build and customize operational and analytical reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.


- Design screen-sets, manager layouts, and workbench configurations for enhanced user experience.


- Handle exception management, alerts, and custom business monitors.


- Implement and test rate cards, rate structures, and cost templates.


- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, validate, and implement system requirements.


- Build multi-leg, multi-stop shipment solutions across various transport modes (LTL, FTL, Air, Ocean).


- Conduct data migrations and configuration setups from cloud to on-premise environments.


- Coordinate stage-to-production code migrations and deployment.


- Tune system performance and troubleshoot functional or technical issues.


- Provide support in freight audit and pay processes within OTM.


Required Skills and Experience :


- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).


- Strong knowledge of OTM data models, schema structures, and configuration frameworks.


- Proficient in SQL scripting, performance tuning, and integration development.


- Experience with OTM screen-set customization, VPD setup, and user roles.


- Excellent knowledge of workflow and agent configuration for business process automation.


- Proven ability to work with 3PLs, carriers, and logistics partners for end-to-end integration.


- Familiarity with working across modes: Truckload (FTL), Less-than-truckl
