Oracle EPM/EPBCS Technical Consultant

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EPM/ePBCS Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Oracle EPM Cloud, with a deep understanding of ePBCS and its underlying technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex EPM solutions to meet our clients' evolving business needs.

Responsibilities :

Technical Design and Development :

- Design and develop complex Essbase cubes, calculations scripts, and business rules to optimize performance and accuracy.

- Implement data load rules, mappings, and integrations to ensure seamless data flow between source systems and ePBCS.

- Configure and customize ePBCS modules (Financials, Workforce, Projects, Capital) to meet specific business requirements.

- Develop custom reports and dashboards using Smart View and other reporting tools.

- Automate routine tasks and processes using EPMA Automate and other scripting languages.

Implementation and Support :

- Lead or participate in EPM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and answering questions.

- Perform system administration tasks, such as user provisioning, security management, and performance tuning.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest EPM Cloud features and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Document technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.

Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud, with a focus on ePBCS.

- Deep understanding of Essbase, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, and MDX.

- Experience with data integration tools like FDMEE or CDM.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python).

- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.

Functional Skills :

- Understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
