Oracle EPBCS Consultant - Implementation & Support

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle EPBCS Consultant to join our finance technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS), and a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle EPBCS applications, ensuring they meet the financial and operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop ASO/BSO cubes, web forms, dashboards, and reports to support planning and forecasting needs.

- Create and maintain Calculation Manager rules, Business Rules, and custom logic to support complex calculations.

- Develop and manage Data Maps and Smart Push jobs to facilitate seamless data movement between cubes and applications.

- Automate repetitive tasks using EPM Automate scripts and tools.

- Manage integrations through Data Management, including metadata and data load from flat files or source systems.

- Work with Smart View, Web Forms, and Financial Reporting (FR) to deliver dynamic and user-friendly reports.

- Support FTP, Batch scripting, and Unix Shell scripting for job scheduling and automation.

- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable and efficient solutions.

- Provide end-user training and support post-implementation.

- Document all development work, configuration, and integration processes for future reference and audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 12 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle EPBCS / Planning Cloud implementations.

- Deep knowledge of Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting business processes and best practices.

- Expertise in ASO/BSO cube design and optimization.

- Experience with Calculation Manager, Business Rules, and complex calculations.

- Strong command of Data Management, including data mappings, transformations, and validations.

- Proficiency in Smart View, FR reports, and Web Forms.

- Hands-on experience with EPM Automate, batch scripting, FTP, and Unix shell scripting.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
