We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer with strong expertise in SQL & PL/SQL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Prior experience working on IT implementations in the Investment Banking domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain database objects including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, and tables using SQL & PL/SQL.

- Perform query optimization and performance tuning to ensure high performance and efficiency of database applications.

- Manage data loading and external file handling for efficient data processing and integration.

- Work closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Debug and resolve complex database-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and application stability.

- Conduct root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions to recurring issues.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while being capable of working independently with minimum supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer.

- Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, including performance tuning.

- Experience in handling external data files and data loading processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.

- Experience in investment banking / financial domain projects (preferred).
