About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle-based solutions that support business-critical systems. You will work closely with database architects, analysts, and application developers to ensure the integrity, performance, and scalability of Oracle applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Oracle solutions.
- Design and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, partitions, etc.).
- Collaborate with application developers to support SQL query tuning and data modeling.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across Oracle environments.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Monitor and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize database performance.
- Document development processes, configurations, and technical specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c database systems.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
- Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, and analyzing execution plans.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
- Familiarity with tools such as Toad, SQL Developer, or similar Oracle development environments.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Understanding of Oracle security, user roles, privileges, and auditing.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Exposure to ETL processes, data warehousing, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate) are an advantage.
