We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA / Cloud DBA with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Autonomous Databases and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The ideal candidate should be proficient in database administration, performance tuning, cloud services, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Administration & Monitoring :

- Proactively monitor database health, performance, and system alerts to prevent outages.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database blocking, deadlocks, and performance issues.

Oracle Cloud (OCI) & Autonomous DB Management :

- Manage and operate Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW).

- Work with OCI services such as VCN, subnets, service gateways, and private endpoints.

Database Development & Deployment :

- Deploy approved database code changes including stored procedures, functions, and packages.

- Support SQL and PL/SQL development activities.

Maintenance & Optimization :

- Execute and monitor scheduled maintenance tasks such as index rebuilds, integrity checks, and statistics updates.

- Manage low disk space alerts to avoid downtime or service disruption.

Security & Access Control :

- Manage user access by creating logins, roles, and granting appropriate database permissions.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5- 6 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA or Cloud DBA.

- Strong experience with Oracle Autonomous Databases (ATP/ADW).

- Solid understanding of OCI platform services.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- Understanding of Oracle database internals and architecture.

- Knowledge of OCI networking (VCN, subnets, service gateways, private endpoints).

- Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database optimization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
