Role : Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description :

Essential Roles & Responsibilities :

- Define, implement and support database backup and recovery policies using RMAN.

- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.

- Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure.

- Supports large number of Oracle databases.

- Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios.

- Experience in database migrations and upgrades.

- Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues

- Performing Database Administration tasks independently in Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and 19c.

- Installation and troubleshooting in RAC and Grid.

- Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning.

- Event/alert monitoring, space management, user management.

- Database monitoring.

- Excellent spoken and written English Communication.

- Good attitude towards corporate environment.

- Hands on experience in Operations and Support of Oracle RDBMS 11g,12c and 19C.

- To provide 24x7 Support.

- Database server administration (Oracle, MYSQL) and team management.

- Good communication skills, Need to participate in client meetings.

- Handle regular day to day IT Infra operations.

- Installation of Oracle and MYSQL ,Applications and break fixing of H/W and S/W issues .

- Working on Service Desk tickets.

- Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues.

- Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status.

- Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly.

- Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Experience in Operating Systems tuning and configurations.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

- A minimum of 4+ years of overall experience in IT Database Domain with proven experience in Database Operations.

- Client Meetings, External Audit, Database Installation, Database Environment, Database, Oracle & mysql Administration.
