Required Skills :

- 3 to 5 years of Oracle database experience on Linux and Windows platforms

- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.

- Good Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard concepts.

- Goldengate is must have

- Strong knowledge of Data Engineering activities. (Data Loading into Oracle Database, Data Validation and verification), Experience with database refresh tasks.

- Experience or conceptual knowledge of at least two open-source databases like MySQL, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

- Experience in backup, HA & DR of the database.

- Familiar with Linux & Windows OS

Responsibilities :

- Involved in all DBA-related activities and maintaining DB uptime

- Understand the application flow and support to troubleshoot database performance-related issues.

- Implement database best practices to secure the database.

- Follow the change management & organisation process.

- Collaborating with other members to ensure that our services meet operations requirements for both internal and external clients, and ensuring that standards for consistent documentation are met. The successful candidate will need to work productively as a team member and participate in a collaborative decision-making process.

- Actively participate in the execution of activities, collaborating with the team on future direction and opportunities for new technology.
