Oracle Database Administrator - E2E Implementation

We're looking for a highly experienced Oracle DBA with 12-15 years of experience to join our team. This is a PAN India position, and we are seeking candidates with an immediate to 30-day notice period. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases and a proven track record of migrating them to cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities :

As a Principal Oracle DBA, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end migration of Oracle databases to either AWS or Azure. Your key duties will include:

Migration Strategy: Leading the assessment, planning, and execution of comprehensive cloud migration strategies for Oracle databases.

Database Management: Configuring and managing Oracle databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and setting up disaster recovery plans.

Cloud Collaboration: Working closely with cloud architects and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal database performance and reliability in cloud environments.

High Availability & Security: Implementing high availability and security best practices for Oracle databases hosted on the cloud.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and resolving any database-related issues that may arise during the migration process.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining thorough documentation and migration runbooks.

Skills & Qualifications :

Experience: 12-15 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience in the cloud migration of Oracle databases.

Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of AWS (RDS, EC2) and/or Azure (Azure SQL, Virtual Machines).

DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proven experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
