About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in managing enterprise-class Oracle environments. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience in Exadata, Oracle 19c/23ai, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and performance tuning. This role requires a proactive individual skilled in delivering reliable 24x7 production support, disaster recovery planning, and compliance with audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and support Oracle databases across 11g, 12c, 19c, and 23ai versions.

- Manage and maintain Exadata environments, including patching and upgrades.

- Configure and monitor Oracle RAC, ASM, and Clusterware.

- Implement and oversee RMAN backup/recovery strategies and Data Guard (physical, logical, snapshot standby).

- Perform proactive performance tuning (AWR, ASH, SQL tuning) to optimize database efficiency.

- Support Linux server administration (RHEL/OEL) including patch management and automation scripting.

- Contribute to cloud migration projects (Oracle Cloud, OCI, Cloud@Customer).

- Monitor environments using OEM 13c/24ai and Zabbix.

- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle Certified DBA (OCP/OCA).

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently in a 24x7 distributed team environment.
