- Troubleshooting : Use Oracle's advanced tools like AWR, ASH, SQL Profiles, and SQL Baselines to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.

- Configuration : Optimize memory, CPU, and storage configurations for specialized environments like Exadata, Oracle RAC, and cloud platforms.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery :

- Data Protection : Maintain and manage Data Guard, Oracle RAC, and RMAN-based backup/recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

- Disaster Recovery : Implement and test zero-data-loss disaster recovery using Flashback Technology and Snapshot Standby. Conduct regular DR drills and failover testing to ensure compliance.

- Security : Secure the database using technologies like TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) and robust database auditing.

Automation & DevOps Integration :

- Monitoring : Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control for comprehensive database monitoring, alerting, and performance management.

- Scripting : Develop and manage automation scripts using Shell scripting and Ansible for various operational and administrative tasks.

- Incident Management : Use tools like ServiceNow and Jira to track and manage requests and incidents efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Database administration.

- Databases : Expertise in Oracle 19c, with hands-on experience in Active Data Guard, Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud environments like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS RDS for Oracle, as well as Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS).

- Scripting : Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.

- Tools & Competencies : A deep understanding of Performance Tuning methodologies, and familiarity with monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager.

- Security : Knowledge of TDE and Database Auditing.

- AI/ML : A basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.
