Oracle Database Administrator

Oracle DBA :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle DBA with 5+ years of experience to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases in an enterprise environment.

The candidate will be responsible for database installation, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c) on Linux/Windows environments.

- Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and patch management.

- Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.

- Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions such as RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.

- Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and security audits.

- Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues for L2/L3 escalations.

- Collaborate with development teams for query optimization, schema design, and stored procedures.

- Ensure database security, user management, and compliance with policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.

- Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (12c/19c/21c).

- Hands-on experience with backup & recovery (RMAN), Data Guard, and RAC.

- Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for database management and tuning.

- Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning.

- Experience in patching, upgrades, and security hardening.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.

- Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring.

- Exposure to GoldenGate for replication and real-time data integration.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
