About the Role :


We are seeking an accomplished Oracle EPM Consultant to join our enterprise applications team and drive end-to-end implementations, integrations, and optimization of Oracles Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-grade financial planning and analytics systems, collaborating with global finance, IT, and business transformation teams. You will play a critical role in implementing Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning, managing integrations, ensuring system scalability, and delivering high-value insights that empower business leaders to make informed financial decisions.


Key Responsibilities :


Implementation & Solution Design :


- Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle EPM implementations, including solution architecture, design, configuration, and deployment.


- Configure modules for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling aligned with business needs.


- Define and implement metadata structures, calculation scripts, business rules, and automation scripts.


- Lead migration and integration efforts between EPM and ERP systems.


Integration & Data Management :


- Design and maintain data flows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or FDMEE for seamless data movement.


- Implement automation for metadata, data loads, and calculations to streamline financial consolidation and reporting.


- Ensure robust data governance and reconciliation processes for financial accuracy.


Reporting & Analytics :


- Develop and manage advanced reporting frameworks using Oracle Financial Reporting (FR), Smart View, and EPM Cloud dashboards.


- Work with business users to deliver ad-hoc and dynamic reporting solutions that support real-time analytics.


Stakeholder Collaboration & Support :


- Partner with Finance and FP&A teams to translate financial requirements into scalable EPM configurations.


- Conduct UATs, training sessions, and workshops for business and technical stakeholders.


- Provide post-implementation support, performance tuning, and continuous improvement recommendations.


Required Skills & Expertise :


- Proven experience implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning.


- In-depth understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.


- Strong experience in data integration using FDMEE / ODI.


- Hands-on knowledge of EPM Automation, Business Rules, and Calculation Manager.


- Proficiency in Oracle Financial Reporting (FR) and Smart View. Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization skills.


- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.


- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across global teams.


Education & Experience :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering (CS/EEE/ECE), or MCA (mandatory).


- 7- 12 years of relevant experience in Oracle EPM implementations or consulting.


- Certification in Oracle EPM Cloud or Hyperion is preferred.


Nice to Have :


- Experience integrating Oracle EPM with Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, or Workday.


- Understanding of Groovy scripting or EPM Automate for automation.


- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.


- Exposure to financial transformation projects and global process standardization initiatives.
