Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Developer Oracle Cloud Reporting to join our technical team. This role is pivotal in leveraging the capabilities of the Oracle Cloud SaaS platform to deliver critical business intelligence and data insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of reporting solutions, including design, technical development, testing, and maintenance of complex data extracts and analytical reports primarily utilizing BI Publisher (BIP) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). A deep, technical understanding of the underlying Oracle Cloud SaaS data model (across modules like Financials, HCM, or Supply Chain) is essential to ensure report accuracy, performance, and integrity, transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and Implement Oracle Cloud Reporting Solutions : Design, develop, test, and deploy highly complex custom reports, data extracts, and interfaces using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI Analysis/Reports. This includes creating intricate Data Models, SQL queries, bursting definitions, and RTF/eText/XSL-FO templates.

- Data Model Expertise : Utilize an in-depth, technical understanding of the Oracle Cloud SaaS data structures (Tables, Views, and Key Flexfields) across one or more pillars (e.g., Fusion ERP, HCM Cloud) to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval for reporting.

- Query Optimization and Performance Tuning : Write and optimize highly performant SQL queries for BI Publisher Data Models, focusing on reducing execution time and minimizing impact on the Cloud environment's operational performance.

- Security and Access Control : Implement and manage appropriate data security for reports and analyses, aligning with Oracle Cloud security models (Roles, Data Access Sets, Security Profiles) to ensure users only view authorized information.

- Report Lifecycle Management : Manage the full reporting lifecycle, including gathering technical requirements, creating design documentation, performing unit/system/UAT testing, and providing post-production support and maintenance for custom reports.

- Integration Support : Develop and maintain technical solutions for data integration and extraction, potentially utilizing technologies like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other file-based data import/export processes in conjunction with BIP.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Analyze and troubleshoot complex reporting issues, including data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and security access problems, providing timely and effective resolutions.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for reporting and data analysis.

Required Skills :

- Demonstrable, strong hands-on experience in developing reports, Data Models, and templates using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) in an Oracle Cloud (Fusion) SaaS environment.

- Expertise in creating, customizing, and managing Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Analyses and Dashboards.

- Profound, technical understanding of the Oracle Cloud SaaS data model across key modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, PO, HCM Core, Benefits, Payroll).

- Exceptional proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL/PL-SQL queries, with a focus on efficiency and performance within the Oracle Cloud database structure.

- Experience with Report Security configuration and implementation within the Oracle Cloud framework.

- Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other Oracle reporting tools such as Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) or Smart View.

- Familiarity with creating or utilizing Value Set Hierarchies and Key Flexfield structures in Oracle Cloud data models.

- Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and their application for data extraction from the Oracle Cloud environment.

- Certification in Oracle Cloud Technologies (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Specialist).

- Previous experience in a full-cycle Oracle Cloud implementation or major upgrade project.
