Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant with deep functional expertise, particularly in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), to support end-to-end financial system implementations and integrations. The consultant will play a critical role in design workshops, business process analysis, system configuration, and financial integrations, ensuring accurate accounting, revenue recognition, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :
1. Oracle Cloud Financials Implementation & Support:
- Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, including :
a. General Ledger (GL)
b. Accounts Payable (AP)
c. Accounts Receivable (AR)
d. Cash Management
e. Fixed Assets
f. Subledger Accounting
- Configure and implement Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) to support complex accounting requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration between FAH and Oracle Cloud Financial subledgers.
2. Financial Accounting & Revenue Recognition:
- Analyze and implement revenue accounting and revenue recognition requirements in accordance with accounting standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
- Translate complex functional accounting requirements into technical design documents.
- Support accounting transformations and posting rules across multiple source systems.
3. Business Process Analysis & Design:
- Conduct design workshops with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Perform as-is / to-be process mapping and gap analysis.
- Provide functional leadership in defining scalable, compliant financial processes.
4. System Integration & Data Flow:
- Design and validate end-to-end data flow between source systems, FAH, and Oracle Cloud Financial modules.
- Work closely with technical teams on :
a. Integration design
b. Accounting rules
c. Data validation and reconciliation
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and financial close processes.
5. Testing, Deployment & Post-Go-Live Support
- Lead and support :
a. Functional testing
b. System Integration Testing (SIT)
c. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate accounting outputs, balances, and financial reports.
- Provide post-go-live stabilization support and issue resolution.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation:
- Act as a functional SME for Oracle Cloud Financials and FAH.
- Prepare and maintain :
a. Functional design documents (FDD)
b. Configuration workbooks
c. Integration design specifications
- Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams across time zones.
Required Skills & Experience :
Mandatory Requirements :
- 10+ years of Oracle Cloud Financials experience, including strong FAH exposure.
- 6+ years of hands-on Financial Accounting experience.
- Proven experience in minimum 2 full lifecycle Oracle Financials implementations, preferably with FAH.
- Strong functional understanding of :
a. Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
b. Oracle Cloud Financial subledgers
c. End-to-end financial accounting flows
- Solid knowledge of revenue accounting and revenue recognition concepts.
- Extensive experience facilitating :
a. Design workshops
b. Business process analysis
c. Functional solutioning
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional design documentation.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in remote, global delivery models.
- Prior experience supporting PST time zone stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Oracle reporting tools and reconciliation processes.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance frameworks (IFRS, GAAP).
