Oracle Cloud Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in designing and deploying cloud solutions based on business requirements.

- Automate cloud provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager).

- Configure Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), Subnets, Gateways, Security Lists, and Route Tables.

- Deploy and manage Autonomous Databases, Oracle RAC, and Object Storage.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resource usage.

- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), roles, and policies.

- Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Security teams.

- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

- Support POC (Proof of Concept) exercises and technical evaluations.

- Provide technical support for OCI-related incidents and service requests.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience in OCI Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, IAM, Load Balancer.

- Strong knowledge of OCI Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) architecture.

- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager).

- Good understanding of OCI Security IAM, Policies, Compartments.

- Experience with database services Autonomous Database, Oracle RAC.

- Monitoring and logging using OCI Monitoring tools.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Good scripting skills (Shell, Python).

- Understanding of cloud networking (IP Addressing, Subnetting, VPN, DRG).

- Experience in working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred :

- Experience with DevOps priniples and practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

- Provide training and support to teams

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
