Oracle Cloud Architect

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design architecture for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services on Oracle Cloud.

- Develop cloud adoption strategies, roadmap, and migration plans.

- Implement and manage Oracle Cloud services : Compute, Storage, Networking, Autonomous DB, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA, etc.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams).

- Define security policies, best practices, and compliance strategies in the Oracle Cloud environment.

- Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure availability and reliability of cloud solutions.

- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) exercises and provide technical guidance.

- Support cloud governance and provide solutions for disaster recovery and backup.

- Mentor and guide junior cloud engineers and developers.

Required Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Services : Compute, Storage, Networking, Autonomous Database, Identity & Access Management (IAM).

- Strong experience in Cloud Migration (On-Premise OCI).

- Expertise in OCI Networking (VCN, Subnets, Gateways, Security Lists, DRG).

- Knowledge of OCI Resource Manager (Terraform).

- Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle SOA Suite.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices architecture.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).

- Knowledge of Oracle Database (RAC, Data Guard).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.

Preferred :

- Experience with DevOps priniples and practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

- Create comprehensive documentation for OpenShift architectures HLD & LLD, configurations,

and best practices.

- Provide training and support to teams

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
