Job Overview :
We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultants to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidates will possess a solid IT background with a minimum of 5 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Integrations using OIC. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of integration development, from design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and support for critical integrations with Oracle Fusion Applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement complex and robust integration flows leveraging various capabilities within Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestrations, integrations, adapters (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, Database, REST, SOAP), and lookups.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to comprehensively understand intricate integration requirements, data mappings, business rules, and error handling strategies for various Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud).
- Build, rigorously test, and successfully deploy integrations to production environments, ensuring data integrity, performance, and adherence to security standards.
- Utilize expertise in web services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, and JSON for data transformation and communication across integrated systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide expert-level support for deployed OIC integrations, identifying root causes of issues, implementing fixes, and optimizing performance.
- Document integration solutions thoroughly, including design specifications, technical configurations, data mappings, and error handling procedures, and provide essential knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Adhere to Oracle SaaS applications best practices and cloud integration governance standards.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience in enterprise application integration or development.
- At least 2 years of strong, dedicated implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Proven hands-on experience in developing and consuming web services (SOAP/REST).
- Expert proficiency in XML and XSLT for complex data transformations within OIC integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of JSON for API interactions and data serialization.
- Familiarity with the integration points and data models of key Oracle SaaS applications such as Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, and/or SCM Cloud.
- Understanding of cloud integration best practices, including security, error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to liaise effectively with diverse technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
- OIC certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 202x Associate/Professional).
- Experience with other Oracle PaaS services (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Visual Builder Cloud Service).
- Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth, JWT for secure API integrations.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for integration artifacts.
