Oracle BI Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI.

- Work with Oracle ERP Systems (E-Business Suite / Fusion Applications) to extract, analyze, and present

business data.

- Design and develop report templates using XML Publisher.

- Write complex SQL queries to support data extraction and transformation needs.

- Analyze data trends and provide actionable business insights through reports and dashboards.

- Prepare and maintain Technical Design Documents and ensure documentation standards are followed.

- Provide support to end-users, including training sessions and resolving reporting issues.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and present technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.

- Stay up-to-date with new BI tools and Oracle technologies to support continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of relevant experience in BI reporting and Oracle tools.

- Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL, and XML Publisher.

- Hands-on experience in developing reports with graphs, charts, tables, and filters.

- Minimum 3 years of experience on end-to-end implementation projects.

- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.

- Effective communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA / MBA).

- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize reports effectively.

- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies and work in a dynamic environment
