Oracle Banking Functional Test Analyst

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Banking Functional Test Analyst to perform functional, integration, and regression testing for Oracle Banking applications. The role requires strong banking-domain knowledge and the ability to validate end-to-end business flows, transactions, interfaces, and application functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for Oracle Banking applications.

- Validate end-to-end banking business flows, transaction processing, and expected system behavior.

- Perform testing across transactions, workflows, interfaces, batches, and exception scenarios.

- Validate accounting entries and transaction lifecycle across relevant banking processes.

- Identify, document, and track defects through the complete testing lifecycle.

- Perform defect analysis, retesting, and regression validation after fixes.

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.

- Coordinate with development, functional, and business teams to resolve testing issues.

- Support SIT/UAT activities and provide functional testing support during releases.

- Perform data validation using SQL and support API testing where required.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Banking functional testing.

- Hands-on experience with at least one Oracle Banking product, such as OBCL, OBPM, OBTF, FCUBS, OBELCM, or Oracle Banking Process Management.

- Strong experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.

- Good understanding of banking domain and transaction lifecycle.

- Experience testing accounting, interfaces, workflows, batches, and exception handling.

- Strong knowledge of test case design, defect management, and test execution.

- Basic SQL skills for data validation.

- Exposure to API testing and test automation is preferred.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
