Job Description

ROLE : Oracle Apps EBS Technical consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical development for Oracle EBS R12/11i implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.

- Design and develop custom reports (RDF/XML/BI Publisher), forms, interfaces, conversions, and workflows (RICEW).

- Build and manage extensions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, OAF, Workflow Builder, and Web ADI.

- Develop and support integrations using APIs, Web Services, and Oracle SOA Suite.

- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across Finance (AP, AR, GL, FA), SCM (PO, INV, OM), HRMS, or other Oracle EBS modules.

- Perform performance tuning of long-running programs and optimize SQL queries.

- Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior developers.

- Create and maintain technical design documents, user manuals, and solution documentation.

- Support data migration and cutover activities during go-live phases.

- Ensure compliance with Oracle development standards and security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development.

- Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF, Workflow, BI Publisher, and SQL Loader.

- Deep understanding of Oracle Applications architecture, standard APIs, and data models.

- Strong experience with RICEW components and custom interface development.

- Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, HRMS, or Manufacturing.

- Sound knowledge of data conversions and integration methods with third-party systems.

- Experience in code migration, patch analysis, and impact assessment.

- Ability to work independently and lead technical tracks within larger projects.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Exposure to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or migration from EBS to Cloud.

- Experience working with Agile or DevOps environments.

- Understanding of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) best practices and personalization.

- Familiarity with tools like Toad, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, and Git/SVN.

- Oracle certifications such as Oracle EBS R12 Certified Expert.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant Oracle certifications are an added advantage.
