We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apps DBA with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in administering, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, application cloning, patching, performance tuning, and environment support across development, testing, and production landscapes. This role requires deep technical understanding, proactive troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and secure operations of mission-critical Oracle applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2) environments.

- Perform application cloning, environment refreshes, patch application, and upgrades.

- Manage Oracle Application Framework (OAF), WebLogic Server, Concurrent Managers, and Workflow components.

- Administer and maintain Oracle Databases (11g/12c/19c) including installation, backup, recovery, and tuning.

- Perform RMAN-based backup/restore operations and ensure database integrity.

- Manage tablespaces, users, roles, profiles, and overall schema health.

- Monitor application and database performance; identify resource bottlenecks and execute optimization.

- Conduct proactive tuning for SQL, database parameters, and application concurrent programs.

- Manage security patches, PSU/CPU updates, and application patches.

- Troubleshoot issues related to application components, services, workflows, and interfaces.

- Support production issues with timely resolution and root cause analysis.

- Support code migrations through AD Utilities, FNDLOAD, and configuration tools.

- Manage deployments across DEV, Test, UAT, and Production systems.

- Maintain backup strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.

- Support high availability setups such as RAC and Data Guard (preferred).

- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, patch logs, and deployment documents.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Apps DBA experience.

- Strong experience with EBS R12/R12.2, Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience in : Application cloning & patching RMAN backups & recovery WebLogic Server administration Oracle Forms/Reports management Concurrent Manager configuration

- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with RAC, Data Guard, OEM Cloud Control.

- Exposure to Cloud (OCI/AWS) migrations for Oracle workloads.

- Knowledge of SOA, Oracle Integration, and API integrations.

- Oracle DBA / Apps DBA certification is an advantage.

Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
