Oracle Apex Developer - Java

Job Description :

We're seeking a skilled professional to design and develop web applications using Oracle's Application Express platform. You'll leverage your expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases to create intuitive user interfaces, integrate backend processes, and ensure robust application performance. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Designing, developing, testing and documenting new applications and supporting/enhancing existing applications on the APEX platform.

- Perform system analysis and system development tasks. Analyse functional business requirements to develop solutions and create technical specifications.

- Partner with business analysts, fellow IT resources and end users to evaluate business requirements, minimal viable product requirements, and deliver required features/functions.

- Collaborate with IT business units to ensure that security and architecture requirements are fulfilled.

- Adhere to data architecture guidance and IT best practice methodologies such as the SDLC and Agile etc.

Requirements :

- Expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.

- 5 Years Experience with Oracle Application Express.

- 5 Years Experience with PL/SQL.

- Experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS.

- Experience developing complex SQL Queries and Oracle Database.

- Experience with SQL Tuning.

- Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.

- Ability to lead activities on structured team development projects.

- Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.

- Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews.

- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients.

- Proficiency with application design and data modeling.

- Creating Workflow in Apex.

- Integrating Fusion API using synchronization in oracle apex.

- In depth knowledge about Restful web services.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

- Experience configuring services for performance, security, and error handling.

- Experience designing, developing, and testing packages, procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

- Effective creation of dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment, using APEX reporting tools, BI Publisher

Education and Qualifications : Preferred Bachelors degree or masters degree, or equivalent from a reputed institute.
