Job Overview :

We're looking for an experienced and self-driven Oracle APEX Developer to independently manage all aspects of Oracle APEX development and support. You'll play a crucial role in building and enhancing applications, optimizing development standards, and ensuring high-quality deliverables within a global team. If you have a strong grasp of Oracle APEX, an understanding of Oracle Applications architecture, and excellent communication skills, this contract opportunity is for you.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Independently manage all aspects related to Oracle APEX development and support.

- Develop applications within an Oracle APEX environment.

- Participate in the development and execution of user acceptance test plans, and schedule testing for APEX applications and code implementations.

- Create new documentation and processes to help refine, optimize, and establish best practice APEX development standards.

- Demonstrate exposure to O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) cycles, understanding their flows and interfacing needs/impact with finance modules.

- Analyze functional documents using standard methodologies to develop comprehensive technical design specifications.

- Develop robust technical designs with considerations for scalability, performance, and architecture.

- Maintain a stable and accurate Oracle Applications production instance.

- Be willing to learn and deliver on new technologies as needed.

- Deliver solutions meeting the highest quality standards, following quality and SDLC processes, and suggesting improvements.

- Utilize Oracle Applications Architecture-level experience.

- Work effectively with a global team, actively participating in conference calls and driving discussions and meetings.

- Collaborate closely with functional teams on various production issues and projects.

- Proven ability to estimate work efforts for complex technology implementations, deliver results, and meet deadlines through effective time management.

Requirements :

- 6-9 years of experience in Oracle APEX development and support.

- Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX environment for application development.

- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and test plan execution for APEX applications.

- Demonstrated ability to establish and refine APEX development best practices.

- Knowledge of O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) cycles, including their financial module impacts.

- Ability to analyze functional documents and create detailed technical design specifications.

- Proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance architectures.

- Experience in maintaining Oracle Applications production instances.

- Familiarity with quality assurance and SDLC processes.

- Architecture-level understanding of Oracle Applications.

- Experience working with global teams, including leading calls and discussions.

- Strong problem-solving, time management, and estimation skills for complex technical implementations.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Self-driven, bottom-line oriented, and strong ownership of assigned tasks.
