Oracle APEX Developer

About the Role :

- Design and implement interactive reports, forms, dashboards, and RESTful services using Oracle APEX.

- Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL code for backend processing and database interactions.

- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them

into technical specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Perform data modeling, database design, and write complex queries and stored procedures.

- Integrate APEX applications with external systems via APIs and web services.

- Ensure application security by implementing role-based access controls and data validation.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

- Maintain technical documentation and provide user training/support as needed.

- Stay current with Oracle APEX and database technology updates and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database concepts.

- Experience building responsive web applications using APEX.

- Familiarity with SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance best practices.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and libraries such as

jQuery.

- Experience with RESTful web services integration and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

- Understanding of security best practices within Oracle APEX applications.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Agile environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
