Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer with proven experience in the BFSI domain to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and web technologies, with a deep understanding of BFSI workflows and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop custom applications using Oracle APEX (version 5.0 and above)

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements specific to BFSI processes.

- Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation, reporting, and integration.

- Create dynamic reports using APEX reporting tools, BI Publisher, or Oracle Reports.

- Integrate applications with third-party APIs and legacy systems.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Maintain documentation for all development work and processes.

- Support migration of Oracle Forms to APEX-based web applications.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.

- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience in BFSI domain projects (banking systems, insurance platforms, financial reporting).

- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX.

- Experience with Oracle 12c or higher.

- Knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations.

- Experience with BI Publisher, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting and PowerShell.

- Exposure to Oracle Analytics Server is a plus.
