Job Title : Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer

Location : Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad (Hybrid - 2 days in office)

Experience : 5+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive OAS Developer with expertise in OAS report development, RPD modeling, OAS security configuration, and Linux-based deployments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development and support of Oracle Analytics solutions tailored to enterprise-level business intelligence needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

- Develop and maintain the RPD (Repository) including Physical, Business Model, and Presentation layers.

- Manage and configure OAS security (object-level, data-level, and web catalog security).

- Implement solutions on Linux servers, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate with IT for patching or upgrades.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and DBAs to gather requirements and deliver

analytics solutions.

- Optimize OAS performance (caching, query tuning, BI server logs analysis).

- Manage data-level security using Initialization Blocks, Session Variables, and Row-Level Filters.

- Support version control and promotion of code across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Analytics (OAS/OBIEE) development.

- Strong expertise in RPD development and metadata modeling.

- Experience with OAS Web Catalog objects (analysis, dashboards, prompts).

- In-depth understanding of OAS Security (authentication, authorization, roles/groups).

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands and scripting for deployments and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Oracle DB and SQL performance tuning.

- Experience in Agile or Scrum-based development environments is a plus.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Basic knowledge of BI Publisher or Fusion Analytics.

- Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines for OAS deployments.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
