Primary Responsibilities :

- Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness

- Creation/involvement in documented designs following agreed to design patterns and standards

- Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist/mentor his team members whenever required

- Adherence to coding standards

- Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team

- Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications

- Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through of support QE team efforts including but not limited to mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed

- Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities

- Adhere to proper use of source control

- Ensuring delivery of technical artifacts for each project

- Mentoring developers on technology and application knowledge as needed

- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications

- Works with less structured, more complex issues

Required Qualifications :

- B.Tech/MCA/MSc/MTech (16+ years of formal education; correspondence courses are not considered relevant)

- 6+ years of relevant software lifecycle experience, with a focus on Backend Services, APIs, Microservices, and Frontend implementation

- 6 years of experience in working on Advanced Java, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices

- 4+ years of experience working in Front end technology React JS / Angular

Technical Skills :

- Extensive hands-on experience with React.JS

- Extensive experience with REST, GraphQL, Microservices, and Spring Boot

- Experience with Kubernetes and automated, codeable deployments

- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle

- Familiarity with containerization

- Exposure to No-SQL databases

- Proficiency in Design, Coding, and Testing

Product/Project/Program Related Tech Stack :

- Knowledge of Front End : Java, React.JS

- Knowledge of Back End : Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST

- Knowledge of Middleware : Kafka & its ecosystem, NoSQL

- Knowledge of Testing : JUnit, Gatling, Cypress, Selenium

- Knowledge of DevOps : Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify

- Others : Knowledge of JMeter, Groovy

- Knowledge of Development Methodology/Engineering Practices : Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
