The Storage & Backup admin and SME who will design, manage, and optimize enterprise storage and backup platforms to ensure high availability, performance, data integrity, and compliance for business-critical and engineering workloads.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Manage data center storage including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and RAID health.

- Administer NFS shares, quotas, access controls, snapshots, and tiering strategies for engineering workloads.

- Monitor and troubleshoot storage events and coordinate with OEM vendors for issue resolution.

- Manage enterprise backup operations including scheduling, job monitoring, restore testing, and retention policies.

- Ensure backup integrity for IT and engineering workloads and align backup processes with ISO 27001 requirements.

- Documentation & SOP Management

- Create and maintain SOPs for storage provisioning, patching, incident troubleshooting, and backup & recovery processes.

- Maintain version-controlled documentation and knowledge base articles for recurring issues.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in NFS-based storage environments.

- Experience with storage technologies such as NetApp, QNAP, SAN, and NAS.

- Hands-on experience with backup tools : Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.

- Strong understanding of RAID, snapshots, replication, performance monitoring, and root cause analysis.
