Optimum InfoSystem - SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform performance tuning and optimize parallel processing for critical business processes.

- Design and implement object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP) solutions following best practices and design principles.

- Develop and consume SOA services within SAP environments.

- Work extensively with Advanced ABAP technologies including ABAP on HANA features such as CDS Views, OData services, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming), and ABAP version 7.5 or higher.

- Implement test-driven development using ABAP Unit frameworks to ensure high code quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions in the Banking and Insurance domains.

- Maintain and manage source code using GitHub and ABAP Git for version control and continuous integration.

- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and best practices for SAP development.

Must-Have Skills :

- Solid knowledge of object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP) design and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with SOA services development in SAP.

- Proven experience in SAP Banking or Insurance domains.

- Expertise in Advanced ABAP on HANA : CDS Views, OData services, RAP programming model, ABAP version >7.

- Practical experience in ABAP Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

- Proficiency with GitHub and ABAP Git for source control and version management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
