Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Optimizely CMS Lead with 9-15 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years in Optimizely (Episerver) CMS development and maintenance.

You will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation, customization, and management of our Optimizely Content Management System.

This position requires deep expertise in designing and maintaining robust CMS architecture, developing user-friendly front and back-end components, and delivering scalable, high-performing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the full lifecycle of Optimizely CMS implementations, from initial design and architecture to deployment and ongoing support.

- Drive the design and maintenance of robust CMS architecture within the Optimizely platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

- Develop and customize both user-friendly front-end and back-end components for Optimizely CMS, leveraging technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript and .NET/C#.

- Ensure the delivery of highly functional, engaging, and user-centric websites and digital experiences built on Optimizely.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into effective CMS solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering best practices in Optimizely development and integrations.

- Implement and manage content types, templates, blocks, and other Optimizely CMS features to meet content management needs.

- Optimize CMS performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to the Optimizely CMS and its integrations.

- Stay updated with the latest Optimizely features, updates, and industry trends in digital experience platforms (DXP).

- Define and promote web content strategies that align with Optimizely CMS capabilities.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of direct experience in Optimizely (Episerver) CMS development and support.

- Expertise in CMS architecture design and implementation, specifically within the Optimizely ecosystem.

- Proficient in frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend development (.NET, C#), particularly in the context of Optimizely.

- Proven experience delivering highly functional, user-centric websites powered by CMS platforms.

- Strong understanding of digital experience platforms (DXP) and modern web content strategies.

- Ability to lead development teams and manage the full lifecycle of CMS implementations effectively.

- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server) as they relate to CMS data storage.

- Experience with Optimizely integrations with marketing automation, e-commerce, or other third-party systems.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
