As a Sr. DevOps Specialist, you will architect, scale, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, container orchestration platforms, and data pipelines. This role is highly specialized, requiring a unique blend of core infrastructure-as-code management and python-driven API development to build automated platform tooling. You will bridge the gap between core infrastructure engineering and big data operations, ensuring our systems are secure, resilient, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Platform Engineering & Container Orchestration (EKS, CRDs, Helm) :

- Manage, scale, and secure production-grade AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters.

- Extend Kubernetes capabilities by developing and managing custom automation architectures using Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and custom controllers.

- Standardize application packaging, deployments, and lifecycle management across multiple environments using Helm.

2. Infrastructure as Code & Automation (Terraform & Python) :

- Design, build, and maintain reusable, secure, and scalable infrastructure modules using Terraform.

- Develop robust internal tooling, automated workflows, and backend utilities via Python API Development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) to streamline platform operations.

- Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application updates with minimal downtime.

3. Data Ecosystem Support (Good-to-Have Ecosystems) :

- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to support and optimize large-scale data platforms, including Snowflake data warehouses.

- Assist in provisioning, monitoring, and scaling distributed data architectures driven by Apache Kafka, Spark, and Flink.

Required Technical Qualifications :

- Experience : 3+ years of core experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

- Python Expertise : Strong proficiency in Python with a solid background in backend API development, automation scripting, and handling data payloads.

- Kubernetes Mastery : Deep operational knowledge of EKS, including cluster networking, IAM roles for service accounts (IRSA), and creating/managing Kubernetes CRDs.

- Infrastructure as Code : Advanced skills in Terraform for multi-account AWS architectures, including state management, workspaces, and registry modules.

- Package Management : Hands-on experience authoring complex Helm Charts and managing releases across environments.

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills :

- Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions, specifically Snowflake.

- Hands-on exposure to streaming and big data infrastructure architectures managed by Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
