Job Description

About the Role :


We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts, and Container Security. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in designing, deploying, automating, and securing containerized workloads across both on premise and AWS (EKS) environments.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD practices, container image optimization, and platform reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, deploy, configure, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters across On-Premise and AWS EKS environments.

- Build, optimize, and maintain secure and lightweight Docker container images following industry best practices.

- Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifests, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, and secrets.

- Manage AWS cloud services with strong exposure to :


1. EKS

2. ECR

3. VPC

4. IAM

5. EC2

6. Load Balancers

- Route53 / Security Groups / Networking basics

- Handle container registry management using AWS ECR and image versioning strategies.

- Implement and enforce container security best practices using tools such as :

1. Prisma Cloud

2. Trivy

3. Mend

4. Docker Hardened Images (DHI)

- Perform :


1. Vulnerability scanning

2. Image hardening

3. Compliance checks

4. Remediation of security findings.

- Automate deployment workflows and improve platform reliability, scalability, and observability.

- Collaborate closely with development teams for application onboarding, release management, deployment troubleshooting, and production readiness.


- Troubleshoot complex issues related to :


1. Kubernetes workloads

2. pod failures

3. cluster networking

4. ingress

5. service mesh basics

6. persistent volumes.

- Drive platform stability, cost optimization, and performance tuning for containerized applications.

- Follow DevOps best practices with focus on :


1. Automation

2. Repeatability

3. Zero-downtime deployments

4. Scalability.
