Job Title : Software Automation Engineer (1-5 years Experience)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented and proactive Software Engineer with Quality, Performance and Reliability mindset and results to prove.

The ideal candidate should have strong Quality/Reliability fundamentals, automation expertise. Experience with Playwright and AI-driven testing tools is a big bonus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Automation-first mindset

- Analyze business requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams with supervision.

- Ensure high-quality releases within defined timelines.

- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1-5 years of experience in Software Testing ( Automation + Manual).

- Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, STLC and Test methodologies

- Experience with Playwright or similar framework/tool for automation

- Strong exposure/pedigree to Code Assistants and Automated Test generation

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience in API testing and database validation.

- Working knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration, along with a good understanding of DevOps practices.

- Ability to design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
