Responsibilities :

- Lead QA strategy and planning across projects : define test approaches, scope, entry/exit criteria, and risks for each release; align with product, engineering, and delivery teams.

- Lead and mentor a small team of QA engineers (manual and automation), providing planning, unblocking, reviews, and day-to-day guidance.

- Build and evolve automation frameworks : design, extend, and standardize hybrid frameworks, page-object patterns, and reusable libraries.

- Drive manual testing excellence : plan and guide functional, regression, exploratory, UAT, and usability testing; ensure high-quality test evidence and reporting.

- Introduce AI-assisted testing where valuable : self-healing locators, AI-aided test design/prioritization, failure triage, or visual checks, with human-in-the-loop governance.

- Enable shift-left/shift-right practices : collaborate on quality at source, contract testing, production observability, and canary/feature-flag testing.

Required Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in QA, with 2 to 3 years in a leadership role across manual and automation testing in Agile environments.

- Strong hands-on automation experience in at least one major stack (e.g., Java + Selenium/TestNG; API testing with Rest Assured/Postman; CI tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across product, engineering, DevOps, and support teams.
