OPL - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - API Testing

Job Description

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineers to join our QA team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about ensuring product quality through both manual and automated testing processes. They will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product managers to learn and implement testing techniques, identify bugs, and help ensure a smooth user experience for our applications.

Experience - 3+ Years Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, following detailed test plans and test cases.

- Identify, document, and report bugs using a bug-tracking system (e.g., JIRA).

- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements, test scope, and functionality.

- Conduct regression, functional, and integration testing as needed.

- Review and update test cases and documentation to improve test coverage and quality standards.

- Gain familiarity with different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

- Maintain clear communication on test progress, issues, and risks to relevant team members.

Preferred Skills :

- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

- Basic knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman is a bonus.
