Job Title: OpenWrt Software Lead / Architect

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced OpenWrt Software Lead / Architect to design and develop carrier-grade firmware for Wi-Fi 6/7 and 5G-FWA routers using Airoha and MediaTek chipsets. The role involves building high-performance networking stacks, implementing device management standards, and architecting scalable embedded Linux systems for global operators.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in OpenWrt customization and build systems

- Advanced programming skills in C / C++

- Deep understanding of networking protocols and Linux networking stack

- Hands-on experience with IPv4/IPv6, routing, VLANs, QoS, and traffic management

- Strong knowledge of device management standards (TR-181, TR-098, USP/TR-369)

- Experience in embedded Linux system architecture and design

- Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Airoha SDKs and MediaTek WiFi drivers

- Familiarity with RDK-B, prplOS, or prplLCM frameworks

- Experience in QoS/QoE optimization (tc, HTB, FQ-CoDel, DPI, traffic shaping)

- Knowledge of network security (Firewall4/Nftables, Iptables, WireGuard, IPsec)

- Exposure to hardware crypto acceleration for VPN and security workloads
