OpenShift Engineer - Red Hat

Required Experience : 8+ years

Timings : 2-11 PM IST Shift

We are seeking an OpenShift Engineer to administer enterprise-grade OpenShift clusters and manage persistent storage solutions with Portworx. This role is critical for ensuring high availability and performance of applications such as RabbitMQ that run on the platform.

Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage Portworx persistent storage for Kubernetes workloads.

- Troubleshoot storage-related issues and ensure data resilience.

- Support RabbitMQ and other business-critical workloads running on OpenShift.

- Apply patches, perform upgrades, and maintain cluster health.

- Work closely with application teams on storage provisioning and performance optimization.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of OpenShift administration experience.

- Strong Kubernetes knowledge with Red Hat OpenShift Operator framework.

- Experience with Portworx (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).

- Familiarity with persistent storage concepts (block, file, object).

- Experience supporting stateful workloads in Kubernetes.

- Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
