Description :

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing container orchestration platforms and will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing OpenShift environments.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters in a production environment.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift applications and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift and containerized applications.

- Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments.

- Conduct regular backups and recovery testing for OpenShift clusters.

Skills and Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes orchestration platforms.

- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman).

- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Understanding of networking concepts related to container networking and services.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with OpenShift.
