About the Role

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift environments. The role involves working on hybrid/multi-cloud solutions, automating cluster operations, and enabling application teams to leverage container platforms effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, deploy, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

- Onboard and optimize application workloads for containerized deployments.

- Automate cluster provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and recovery using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or Splunk.

- Ensure compliance with security best practices, RBAC, and container image policies.

- Troubleshoot workloads, networking, and persistent storage issues in OCP/Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams for application modernization.

- Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.

Required Skills & Experience

- 68 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in OpenShift/Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Tekton, ArgoCD).

- Strong background in Linux administration, networking, and container security.

- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud integration.

- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

- Red Hat OCP certifications preferred (Administration / Specialist).

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and Kubernetes Operators.

- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).

- Exposure to application modernization and migration projects.
