Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure. The role will focus on designing, deploying, configuring, and managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters on Azure, along with supporting microservice application deployments and Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong cloud platform engineering experience with a specific focus on OpenShift and Azure. Important: This is an OpenShift-focused platform engineering role. Candidates with only generic DevOps experience and no strong hands-on OpenShift expertise are requested not to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters on Microsoft Azure.

- Implement and manage Azure infrastructure required to support OpenShift environments.

- Deploy, configure, and manage microservices applications on OpenShift.

- Manage OpenShift workloads, namespaces, deployments, services, routes, configurations, and secrets.

- Work extensively with Kubernetes and OpenShift administration and troubleshooting.

- Configure and manage Azure networking components required for OpenShift environments.

- Work with Azure DNS, Load Balancing, networking, and connectivity components.

- Monitor OpenShift clusters and troubleshoot platform, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.

- Support cluster upgrades, scaling, configuration, patching, and performance optimization.

- Implement high availability, scalability, security, and reliability for OpenShift workloads.

- Collaborate with application development teams to enable smooth deployment and operation of microservices.

- Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and deployment activities where required.

- Implement and maintain best practices for cloud-native application deployment on OpenShift.

- Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous platform improvement.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Strong experience in Cloud Platform Engineering with a focus on OpenShift and Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

- Experience designing and managing OpenShift clusters on Azure.

- Experience with microservices deployment on OpenShift.

- Strong understanding of Azure Cloud infrastructure and networking.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DNS and Load Balancing.

- Experience troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters and workloads.

- Good understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Deployment & Administration, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Azure DNS, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Networking, Microservices Deployment, Containerization, Cloud Platform Engineering, OpenShift Cluster Management, Cloud-Native Architecture.

Candidate Eligibility:

1. Mandatory:

- Strong hands-on OpenShift experience.

- Strong Azure Cloud experience.

- Experience with Kubernetes.

- Experience deploying and managing microservices on OpenShift.

2. Not Suitable:

- Candidates with only generic DevOps experience without significant hands-on OpenShift expertise.

- Candidates without production experience in OpenShift.

- Candidates whose experience is limited to CI/CD tools without OpenShift platform engineering exposure.
