OpenGov - Senior Product Manager

Position Summary :

The ideal candidate will bring strong product instincts, technical fluency, and enterprise SaaS experience to shape offerings that simplify complexity and deliver tangible value for government partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy & Vision :

- Define and articulate a clear, compelling product vision and multi-year strategy for your domain (e.g., Procurement, Budgeting, Citizen Services).

Roadmap & Execution :

- Own and manage the product roadmap end-to-end, aligning with internal stakeholders (engineering, design, marketing, customer success) and external stakeholders (government partners, industry experts).

- Partner with design and engineering to deliver intuitive, performant, and accessible user experiences.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Act as the bridge between internal business functions and engineering, ensuring all teams are aligned on product priorities and trade-offs.

- Regularly engage with customer success teams, end-users, and field teams to collect feedback and iterate on existing solutions.

Analytics, Insights & Optimization :

- Leverage telemetry data, user behavior analytics, and voice-of-customer insights to drive continuous product optimization and innovation.

Innovation & Market Awareness :

- Stay abreast of emerging trends in SaaS, AI, GovTech, public sector digitization, cybersecurity, and accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG, FedRAMP).

Product Leadership :

- Provide product thought leadership across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :

Required :

- 7+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally involving web-based enterprise platforms.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, data modeling, integrations, and modern front-end technologies.

- Experience in agile product development and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Mixpanel, or Pendo.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a data-informed, customer-obsessed mindset.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Preferred :

- Experience building products for government, regulated industries, or mission-critical environments.

- MBA or advanced technical degree.

- Experience working in high-scale, distributed SaaS environments or multi-tenant cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
