OneData Software Solutions - Senior Azure Data Engineer - ETL Frameworks

Job Summary :

- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to architect, design, and lead the development of scalable and high-performance data solutions on the Azure platform.

- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure data services, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing, along with the ability to guide teams and drive best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect end-to-end data pipelines and data platforms on Azure.

- Lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing.

- Work extensively with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Build and manage data lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).

- Define data models and implement data warehousing solutions.

- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

- Optimize performance of SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows.

- Integrate and manage data using RedPoint or similar customer data platforms.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust monitoring solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- Having 7+ Years of expereince in Azure Data Engineering.

- Strong experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Expertise in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and event-driven architectures.

- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).

- Advanced proficiency in SQL Server (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and big data concepts.

- Experience in handling large-scale, distributed data systems Data Engineer.

- Exposure to RedPoint or similar data integration/CDP tools.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203).

- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
