About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).

The candidate should have hands-on experience in automation framework development, API testing, and performance testing.

Knowledge of TypeScript is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript).

- Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

- Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases.

- Implement test scripts using Maven for build and dependency management.

- Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter / k6.

- Create, maintain, and execute API test cases using Postman / RestAssured.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high-quality releases.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab).

- Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports.

- Ensure adequate test coverage and continuous improvement of automation processes.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of QA Automation experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript).

- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java.

- Strong knowledge of Maven for build management.

- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, k6, or similar.

- Good understanding of TestNG / JUnit test frameworks.

- Strong experience in API testing using Postman / RestAssured.

- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with Git, Jira, and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr).

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with TypeScript (added advantage).

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).

- Knowledge of Docker for environment setup.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Experience with reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
