About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I UI with 6 to 9 years of professional experience to lead the design and delivery of complex, scalable user interfaces. This role combines deep technical expertise, client-facing engagement, and leadership responsibilities. You will guide frontend architecture, implement high-quality UI components, mentor junior engineers, and ensure seamless, performant user experiences across projects.

What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Have :

- Lead frontend architecture and UI design for complex web applications.

- Develop scalable, maintainable, and modular UI components using React, Next.js, and modern styling frameworks (Chakra UI, Tailwind CSS, or styled-components).

- Ensure state management best practices using Redux, Zustand, or similar tools.

- Handle API integrations efficiently using Apollo Client, tRPC, or other frameworks.

- Implement robust form handling and validation with react-hook-form and Zod/Yup.

- Optimize application performance with Lighthouse, lazy loading, and image optimization techniques.

- Write unit tests with Jest and ensure code quality through reviews and mentoring.

- Act as a client-facing technical lead, participating in demos, discussions, and architecture walkthroughs.

- Mentor L4 & L5 engineers, spending ~50 -60% on leadership and guidance, and 40 - 50% on IC work for critical flows or complex UI features.

What You'll Bring to the Table :

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong expertise in React, Next.js (including SSR and routing), and modular UI component design

- State management using Redux, Zustand, or Context API

- API handling with Apollo Client, tRPC, or similar

- Strong form handling and validation using react-hook-form with Zod or Yup

- Styling and component frameworks : Chakra UI, Tailwind CSS, or styled-components

- Experience writing unit tests with Jest

- Performance optimization and testing using Lighthouse and other tools

- Client-facing communication skills for meetings, demos, and architecture discussions

- Leadership experience mentoring engineers and guiding frontend architecture

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with Storybook for component documentation

- Knowledge of TanStack Query or SWR for advanced data fetching

- Integration experience with Sentry for error monitoring

- Experience with lazy loading and image optimization techniques
