Job Summary :

one.com / group.one is seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer to join our growing team in India.

In this role, you will support the quality assurance efforts across our hosting-related products and services.

You will work closely with global engineering and product teams to ensure that every release is reliable, stable, and aligned with our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This position involves a mix of manual testing, automation, API validation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated tests across one.com / group.ones hosting-related products and services.

- Perform API testing (REST and GraphQL) and validate business logic, performance, and data integrity.

- Contribute to UI automation using Playwright and maintain test coverage during regression cycles.

- Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA peers during refinement sessions to ensure stories are testable and meet the Definition of Ready (DoR).

- Support the ongoing test automation strategy by increasing coverage, improving stability, and reducing regression execution time.

- Report testing progress, risks, and readiness before each release to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills (Mandatory):

- 3+ years of QA experience spanning both manual and automated testing.

- Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, Pytest, or similar.

- Programming or scripting skills in Python or another modern language.

- Experience with Playwright, Cucumber, or similar test automation frameworks.

- Solid understanding of risk-based testing principles and core QA processes.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and product teams.

Required Skills (Optional / Nice To Have):

- Knowledge of Hosting technologies (DNS, web hosting, SSL, Kubernetes).

- Experience with CI/CD integration and non-functional testing tools such as JMeter or K6.

- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Cucumber Studio.

Education And Experience Requirements :

- Bachelors degree (B.Tech.or B.) in Computer Science or Information Technology.

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
