About the Role :

We are looking for an AVP/Sr. Director of Coding Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of next- generation autonomous and computer- assisted medical coding, and CDI products for the US healthcare market. This is a senior leadership role for a product leader with deep expertise in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and hands- on experience building AI- driven coding solutions at scale.

This role will be responsible for defining product vision, owning the roadmap and outcomes, and working closely with Engineering, AI/ML, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and compliant coding solutions that materially improve provider financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include :

Product Strategy & Vision :

- Define and drive the product vision and strategy for CDI, autonomous coding, and computer- assisted coding solutions within the US healthcare RCM ecosystem.

- Own the end- to-end product roadmap, balancing innovation in AI/ML with regulatory compliance, accuracy, and scalability.

- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities across inpatient, outpatient, professional, and specialty coding workflows.

Product Development & Execution :

- Lead cross- functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, Clinical SMEs, Compliance, and QA teams to deliver high- impact coding products.

- Translate complex clinical, coding, and operational requirements into clear product specifications, epics, and user stories.

- Champion a data- driven, accuracy- first product development approach with strong focus on model performance, explainability, and auditability.

Client Engagement & Market Insight :

- Engage directly with US healthcare providers, billing companies, and RCM leaders to understand coding pain points and evolving requirements.

- Partner with Sales and Client Success to support product demos, pilots, and enterprise deployments.

- Stay current with ICD- 10- CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, HCC, DRG logic, CMS guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory changes impacting coding.

Leadership & Team Management :

- Build, mentor, and scale a high- performing product management team focused on coding solutions.

- Foster a culture of accountability, customer obsession, and continuous learning across product and cross- functional teams.

- Function as a domain thought leader in autonomous coding, internally and with clients.

Operational Excellence :

- Establish best practices for product lifecycle management, including validation, pre- production QA, post- deployment monitoring, and continuous improvement.

- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Security teams to ensure HIPAA adherence and audit readiness.

- Work with Finance and leadership to support pricing, ROI articulation, and product business cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in medicine, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Advanced degree preferred.

Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in US healthcare, with a strong background in product management, implementation, or operations.

- Minimum 5+ years in true product management in US Healthcare

- Proven experience building autonomous coding or computer- assisted coding products for the US healthcare market.

- Deep, hands- on experience across US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), with strong understanding of coding's role in financial outcomes.

- Demonstrated success launching and scaling enterprise healthcare products in complex, regulated environments.

Technical & Product Skills :

- Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in medical coding, including NLP- based clinical documentation analysis.

- Familiarity with coding accuracy metrics, auditing processes, and model governance.

- Experience working closely with engineering teams on data pipelines, model training, validation, and deployment.

- Excellent analytical, prioritization, and problem- solving skills.

Domain Knowledge :

- Deep expertise in US healthcare coding workflows, including inpatient, outpatient, and professional coding.

- Strong knowledge of CD, ICD- 10, CPT, HCPCS, HCC, DRG logic, CMS regulations, and payer requirements.

- Understanding of HIPAA, compliance standards, and operational risk in AI- driven healthcare products.
