Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database admin with over 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database administration and support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining database performance, integrity, and security, while providing technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle-based systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide day-to-day support for Oracle databases, including monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Perform database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and patching.

- Assist in the design and implementation of database structures, objects, and procedures.

- Monitor database health and proactively address potential issues.

- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency.

- Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests.

- Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and support processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database administration and support.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c environments.

- Experience with Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, and SQL-Plus.

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

- Familiarity with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of Oracle architecture and internals.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.

- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

- Exposure to cloud-based database services (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
